Author's Note: So, I wrote this cause I was bored one day. No particular reason. I hope you like it.

Street Lamp

I'm flying out to Boston

And I'm thinking about you.

And you're so close in my mind,

But you're far, far, far away.

I look in each direction,

Searching for your street.

I have no sense of direction

But I think I will be okay.

I'm flying out to Boston

And I'm thinking about you.

And you're so close in my mind,

But you're far, far, far away.

I'm sitting on the street side

And I'm watching cars go by.

It's close to seven-thirty,

But I know I will be okay

I'm flying out to Boston

And I'm thinking about you.

And you're so close in my mind,

But you're far, far, far away.

It's hard to read the street signs,

And the people push me by.

I look in each direction

And I think I will be okay.

It's almost eleven-thirty

But the city's still alive.

It's a little bit unnerving

You're still far, far, far away.

I finally find the streetlamp

That you said you would be by.

You're sitting on the street side

And I know I will be okay.

I run up to the street side

And we share a long embrace,

As we kiss under the lamplight

I know we are okay

It would be lovely if you left a review! Thanks!
