We were such good friends, then something went wrong,

I never knew what you talked about that day,

So upset, poured by heart into a song,

You were cold, I didn't know what to say,

I was confused, questioning who I am,

Angry for letting this happen to us,

I felt so vulnerable, like a lamb,

Seems like I'm alone, making a fuss,

Can't believe I let myself fall for you,

Why didn't I see that you did not care?

I wanted so badly to see you through,

You left me there, struggling with no air,

I learned my lesson, to be more careful,

Not to jump in quickly, but just to mull.
