To change

To be truthful is to be myself. Why should I lie to pretend to be someone who is not I? Others have high hopes for me because of my ancestry, expecting great things since I am related to the ones before me. As of right now, I tell you, enough! Stop predicting what I should do because of another. Hurtful words with kind intentions will be my demise if continued. This message I have repeated over and over, but none have listened until now. Even if you don't believe, at least hear this: I will never change, not by expected means, but until I have been given a chance to be myself, truly, for at least a day. So, I, beseeching, tell you, enough!
