Just because the world seems to be closing you out

Well I'll tell you something

When I told you I don't leave my friends.

I know it seems like it could be easier

In my life if I just did.

But a promise is a promise

And I NEVER take mine back.

You can beg and plead

But you can never change my mind.

Because to me

I can't see a life without you in it.

Because you've changed it so much

So how do you expect me to leave you?

You never left me.

God knows when how long ago

That I said

"I WILL be there till the end."

And I don't back out on my promises.

Especially one to my best friends.
