because there were too many people
to skinny dip;
i remember taking pictures
of the amazing guy
with the beard and strange guitar;
i remember
eating two
strawberry shortcakes
with the help of
three others;
the only other thing
i remember

spinning
and being free
and him telling me
it's easier if i don't look at my feet
and only dancing
once
because he kept dancing with her
and no one else

with me.
