Sometimes I wish she’d write a poem, something just for me

Sometimes I wish she’d write a poem, something just for me.

Sometimes I wish she’d tell me what she can see.

Sometimes I wish she’d make me feel special and treasured as a gem.

Sometimes I just need to hear that she loves me for who I am.

But if she did I’d become just another boy.

She’d reject me and forget me like a sad old toy

But I know that won’t ever happen I see it in her face.

Even when all the others are gone I’ll still have a place.

See her love is in what she won’t say, the truth behind the lies.

Our bond is in shared secrets, in saying volumes with our eyes.

It’s in the long cold nights when every one else goes home.

It’s in the planning of our future, where we want to roam.

It’s in knowing that we’ll never be alone.

We’re happily stuck together in the future fate has sown.

I’m the innocence and romance she keeps locked inside.

She’s the iron will and fury I’ve worked so hard to hide.

We’re a perfect balance my ying to her yang.

Our hearts soar in harmony like a song the angels sang.

I call her my best friend though others don’t always see why.

I’ll always stand beside her till she asks me to leave or I die…

A/N: Another one for Charly but she’ll never read it. I miss her so much…R/R laters!!!
