To those of you who read the old one of this. Bravo, you actually read that piece of crap. I look back on it now, and I wonder why the hell was I that bad at writing?

Anyway, this is the remake of An Odd World. Don't bother to look for the old one (Why would you?) I deleted it already. There will be only four chapters, their longer and some parts have been added in. I hope this one goes better than my last one.

Please read and review.

An Odd World

Chapter One

Off in the distance someone let out a bone-chilling scream. Kira grabbed her pistol filled with silver bullets and went running toward the noise, where she saw a massive black-haired werewolf that was at least six feet tall, eating a corpse of a human. It stopped and looked at Kira. She set her gun and pointed it at the beast and pulled the trigger.

Nothing happened.

“Shit,” Kira muttered to her self. The beast bared his bloody teeth as he growled at her; Kira began running, ‘I need my sword,’ she thought. She ran to her camp and quickly got her silver sword. She came back out, looked around, but saw nothing.

A twig snapped.

Kira quickly turned around. She saw gleaming yellow orbs looking into her purple eyes. She stood there with her black hair -that went below her shoulders- blowing in the wind. She was so surprised she couldn't move; it came closer to her. Kira came to her senses and held up her sword, ready to fight. He reared up on his hind feet and let out a bloodthirsty howl. The wolf landed back on the ground and charged at her, in a panic, she ran away from the beast.

The werewolf ran quicker, picking up speed as he went. The wolf snapped at her leg when he got close enough, bringing Kira down to the ground. The Massive werewolf jumped on top of her and began to claw at her back. She took her sword and jabbed it blindly behind her, impaling the wolf’s skull. When she felt it go limp, she pulled herself from out beneath the body.

Blood rushed out its wound when she pulled out the sword, the beast’s body changed into a twenty-five-year-old man. She sat down, exhausted, then tended to her wounds. She hissed as she applied the disinfectant, then she wrapped up the claw marks with bandages. Afterwards she went to the village to talk to the leader.

“Thank you for slaying that horrible beast for the village,” he said with a smile on his face.

“No problem, it's what I do. Now about the payment,” she started.

“Of course, here you are, two hundred gold,” he said, handing her a bag. “Thank you again,” with that, he went to tell the other villagers the good news. Kira went back to her camp to figure out what happened to her gun. She looked at it to discover there were no bullets inside.

“Idiot,” she murmured to herself and loaded it, just in case. She laid down on her sleeping bag about to go to sleep when she heard a noise outside. She went to check but it was pitch black, so she turned to the tent, intending to get her flashlight.

“So you're the girl they all talk about,” a mysterious voice echoed throughout the forest. “Slaying werewolves and demons. You're nothing but a pathetic, little, girl. How can you slay anything?”

“I'm not little or pathetic!” She hissed at the darkness. The voice laughed as it faded away. She went back inside to her tent; she put her gun near her.

People were dying around her and she was killing them. One by one. She laughed as she impaled them with her sword, making them scream with agony, or when she tore out their throat with her teeth, some lived, but only to suffer more, she loved it.

“Ahhh!” She woke up screaming, she took several breaths to calm herself down. “It was just a dream, of me killing my...” She sobbed, because the people in her dream were her friends, but they died, not by her, but by vampires. She had to watch them as they were raped and killed. One by one, they fell to the might of the vampires. She couldn't do anything, only watch because she was only five when it happened, she stayed hidden and out of sight until she knew it was safe, so she could live. That day she vowed that she would kill the creatures that intended harm to those who couldn't protect themselves. She fell asleep crying.

The next morning, an old woman came up to her. “I can see into the future, I came to tell you that-” a hand came though her chest and tore out her heart. Kira just looked at her.

“She really does talk to much,” a guy with dark blond hair, -with a sent of something burning- said while dropping the heart and pulling out his hand. The old lady fell to the cold, unforgiving, ground. “She didn't see that coming,” he said sarcastically. “Now to deal with you.” Kira looked at her lifeless body.

“You're so weak, you kill little old ladies, demon? How pathetic,” she spat.

“I'll show you pathetic,” He growled, glaring at her as he disappeared. She tensed as she looked around, but she couldn't see him, then a bloody hand was on her mouth and a voice whispered, “Now who's pathetic?” It sent shivers up her spine. “I should kill you now but that's not what I was sent here to do,” he laughed. “But he never said I couldn't have fun,” He licked the side of her face, much to her disgust. “Delicious,” He hissed lowly, he put his other arm around her waste. “I wonder if he would mind if I had my way with you? I bet you're just a little kitten in bed.”

Kira elbowed him in the stomach, making him let go of her. She quickly moved away from him. She wiped the blood off of her mouth “Aww, don't you like the taste of blood?” He asked, while licking the blood off of his own hand, acting like nothing happened.

“Shut up,” she snapped.

“So you want to fight? How about we make it a challenge? Only fist and feet no swords or guns, got it?”

“Fine,” with that they started to fight. She punched him and hit him in the jaw, he punched her but she dodge it with ease. “You are pathetic,” she said while she kicked him in the stomach and he fell to the ground, but quickly got back up ready to fight again.

“Is that all you got?” He asked. She kicked him hard, sending him into a tree. He got back up and rammed into her, and sent her flying, she landed on the ground. She got back up and punched him in the head, he fell to the ground, but this time he didn't get up.

“Now to finish you.” Kira said; her voice laced with venom. She started to walk over to him, but he disappeared. She looked around, and saw only trees. She looked up at the gray clouds. It began to rain.

The demon woke up surrounded by darkness. “I did not send you to rape her Derek.” Someone in a black and blood red cloak growled maliciously.

“Dameon, I-” but Dameon interrupted.

“No excuses!” Dameon hissed at him, lightening came down and struck Derek, his body twisted in pain. “You should have just done what you were instructed to do. You was just suppose to kill the old one, or are you so pathetic, you wanted to prove yourself?”

“Shut up!” Derek yelled.

“Don't you dare raise your voice at me!” Dameon yelled at him, sending more lightening. His body was in agony. A scream finally ripped from his mouth “Get up!” He struggled to rise; he was still in pain. “Your punishment is death.” Derek looked up in horror; Dameon had a sadistic smile on his face, revealing his deadly fangs.

Kira dug the old woman a spot after she was sure the demon wouldn't be back. “There live on in the next life, be free.” She saw the old woman's spirit rising toward the gray, raining, sky. After she packed her stuff, her red cell phone with black fire on the cover rang.

She flipped open her cell phone. “Hello?”

“You just got lucky, Derek was a weak demon. I'd watch my back if I were you, there are things after you that want nothing but your death!” said a voice

“Who are you?” the phone went silent she heard a scream in the background, then laughing. Kira closed her cell phone and kept walking into the depths of the forest to her next job. This time she has to get rid of a dragon. A person had called and told her about the beast before she went to get rid of the werewolf.

She went through the forest, walking peacefully until she felt like she was being watched. Kira turned to look around but only to find a skeleton laying on the ground with a sword and a shield. It had begun to move.

The skeleton got up and began to attack her. It swiped its rusted sword at her, hitting Kira in the arm; she fell to the ground, bleeding heavily. She got back up as the skeleton swiped at her again. She dodged it this time, but only just. Kira got out her sword and began to fight back. She swiped her sword at it, but it was futile, it only blocked her attack.

She let out a scream as the rusted blade went into her arm, hitting the bone. She retaliated, chopping off its arm, but that only got it mad. It charged blindly at her, she tried to dodge, but it slashed her in the stomach, Kira fell in pain. The skeleton came up behind her and hit her in the head, making her pass out.

She felt as if she was being carried, but she was so weak, she couldn't even open her eyes. So, she laid there. Soon, Kira was put on something soft; shortly after, she heard a fire blazing. She strained her self to get up.

“So you’re finally up then?” A male voice said.

“Who a-are you?” Kira barely said. She was still weak from the fight.

“I'm the one who saved your life,” he said. “I'm Thomas, you are?”

“None of your business I didn't need your help!” she spat at him.

“I just saved your life so it looks like to me that you did.”

“I'm leaving.” She tried to get up but only to fall again.

“You need to rest,” he said.

Kira hissed angrily. “Fine, but I'm leaving as soon as I can.” Later she asked, “So what happen to the skeleton?”

“I ran away carrying you until it was safe,” he said.

“Why didn't you slay it?” She asked.

“You can't kill skeletons without the proper equipment, here, for your wounds,” he said handing her bandages.

“Thanks,” Kira murmured she took the bandages and began to wrap her arm up then her stomach.

“Do you want something to eat?” Thomas asked.

“I'm not hungry,” She said.

Kira stayed the night there. Having the dream again, she woke up trying to hold the tears back as they stung her eyes.

“What's the matter?” Thomas asked.

“Nothing,” she said holding back tears. “I'm leaving.” She grabbed her stuff and took off into the woods trying to get far away as possible from him.

“Wait!” he yelled. When she left, a smirk came across his face “She's determined, but she is weak.” He faded into the darkness.

She ran until she reached a town. There, she went to eat and rented a room to stay the night. Kira was sleeping until she heard a scream. She went outside with her sword and saw a dark red dog that breathed fire.

“A hell hound,” Kira mumbled to her self. It blew flames out of its mouth setting the person on fire, he screamed and fell to the ground burning to a crisp. He yelled out once more before he stopped moving. The hound then tore into his flesh, making the hound's muzzle, bloody. Kira went to face it, she sliced her sword toward the hellhound but it dodged and came back with its fire breath. She barely made it out of the way in time. She dashed so it wouldn't get the chance again.

Kira tripped.

Hitting the dirt head on, the hound jumped and landed on her back. It began biting and digging its sharp claws into her skin. She yelped in pain as the hound dug deeper, shredding her scarred skin. It jumped off Kira and got in front of her. It held its mouth open, making a fireball inside. The sound of a gun firing went though the air; Kira looked up and saw the dog fall over dead. She looked around to see who did it, but saw only dust. She blacked out.

She woke up in a bed on her stomach she glanced around, 'I’m in a hospital,' she thought. She laid there trying to figure out how to get away. She moved a bit, only to find that she had hardly any pain. So she got up, took out the needle in her arm and everything else that was stuck to her body, and went for the window. She looked out to see they were still in town. The window wasn’t that far from the ground, but she wasn‘t sure if it was safe to jump out of.

She heard voices and footsteps racing toward her room, she opened the window. Taking her chances, Kira jumped. She landed on her back, causing her wounds to reopen, she held back a scream. Kira looked around on the ground for a bit to see if she could find her sword, but saw nothing. 'Oh great, now I have to buy a new one,' she thought angrily.

She rushed off after she got her stuff and headed to a place so she could rest in peace. She found a nice place by a small waterfall in the woods. There, she took a bath to wash off the dried blood on her back from where she fell. Kira got out and put on her purple hoodie and black pants. The entire time she sensed someone watching her, she looked around, but saw nothing. She shrugged off the feeling as she went to her tent to get some sleep.

She woke up the next day and started to go to the next town, so she could buy a new sword. She heard footsteps coming toward her; she climbed up the nearest tree so they wouldn't see her. It was Thomas walking to where she had camped, carrying her sword. He looked to see if she was there but didn‘t find her. He took her sword, laid it down, and began to leave, Kira jumped down out of the tree.

“Thanks for bringing my sword back, so was it you who killed the hell hound?” She asked

Thomas he turned around to look at her and said “Yes, I saw you in trouble and thought I should help.”

“Thank you, but why did you not show yourself?”

“I have my reasons,” he said with a smirk. “Well I've got to go now, good bye and be careful next time.”

“My name is Kira, by the way,” she said.

He nodded to her and left. She packed up her stuff.

She was walking toward the village when she heard a low, deep, growl. She turned around, only to face a blue dragon. It had two horns on its head and silver eyes that were empty inside. It lifted its head and blew out ice. Kira pulled out her gun, cocked it and shot the dragon in the eye. It let out a piercing scream, and blew out more ice toward her. She dodged it and shot again, but missed. The blue dragon used its tail and swung at Kira, knocking her into the ground she got up but only to fall from the pain in her back, her wounds reopened. Kira turned on to her back and shot at the dragon, only to miss again. The dragon blew ice at her legs, freezing her to the ground. She shot and missed. The dragon came up to her about to eat her alive when she shot her gun one last time. The bullet went threw its skull killing the monster instantly. The blue dragon fell over onto the icy ground. Kira hacked at the ice with her gun, breaking her legs free, and then she went up to the dragon, took out her sword, and chopped off its head. The blue blood of the ice dragon gushed out of its body. Kira took its head by the horns and began carrying it to the town.
