A summer's night

On the streets the lights are burning low.
Warm air is ghosting through our room
that lies in silence, throughout dark,
while insects are chirping in the night.

Wie lie in bed, covers crumbled, radio on.

Just close your eyes and listen to that song;
it reminds me of a summer's night.
driving without aim through a lively city
with open windows and open hearts
to the sound of life.
