Written yesterday after a surprising revelation. Of course there have been quite a few of those, few of which have furthered the plot of life.

Why do I seek those dark brown eyes

That haunt me in my dreams

For every time I look their way

They're looking back it seems

The raging thoughts the twirling sights

That come as I awake

All put before me sights and sounds

That silently make me quake

The day goes smoothly on they say

Over my small dark life

My soul awaits the coming time

When I shan't walk upon a knife

But seeing her my heart does stop

My sight darkens and blurs

The dream becomes reality

My very soul is hers

The eyes they peer into my heart

I feel their searching gaze

I know I should just look away

But the music my head plays…

Reminds me that I looked at her

And that she was looking back

So that even though the pain is there

I may still be on track
