I ran in circles
around an extremely tall tree
around an extremely tall problem
I ran for hours
I ran for days
I ran for weeks
...months, even
I began to tire
as I am tired now
as I grow weak now
as I feel I've nothing left to give now
I realized I'd never reach a solution by running in circles
because all I did was run the problem over
trample it
beat the life out of it
all I did was run through it again
all I did was keep its memory alive
so now, what is there to do but run away?
