Meditation of Earth and Sky

Tiny droplets shimmer,

On the leave of the trees that

Have caught them.

The tiny mirrors to the universe.

The rain gives the forest a

Sense of stillness.

Enjoy life for this moment,

Everything seems innocent in

These minutes.

As the earth contemplates

The rain clouds that have

Yielded their gifts,

“Thank you,” says she,

As her timber arms reach to please

The sky.
