There are chemicals inside your body,
Jazzy poisons doing things to your veins.

You tap, wriggle, shake. The
Air hangs around you self-consciously -

You are in a solid world.
Your dolls house is constructed just for you.

You constructed it,
But didn’t build a door.

So you will continue to force yourself out,
Outside to other people’s dolls houses, to

Their own inflicted reality.
You cannot take any liberties anymore.

There’s hardly a breeze.
Everything is made of glass.

One, frenzied handshake, a high-five,
Would shatter your day-job forever.

At night you do not do anything,
You only tap, tap, tap, as the

Chemicals saturate your bones.
