Come On Barbie, Let’s Go Party

When I was little

I loved to play with dolls

In fact still do (on the occasional rainy day)

_-…-_

I enjoy the make-believe

The plastic shoes that always fit

And none of them were ugly

_-…-_

They were all perfect

Smiling and happy

Ken by their sides

_-…-_

Yes, the land of pretend

Where everyone is happy

There’s a reason it’s called ‘pretend’

_-…-_

I think the creator of Barbie

Had a horrible life and was sad

So they made a place where anything is possible

_-…-_

One day I’m a doctor

The next a high fashion model

Of course there’s always the beach

_-…-_

Barbies have it easy

And do you know why?

Because they’re not real

_-…-_

If Barbie were to become real

Their pretty blonde hair would turn grey

And they’d gain weight, lots of it too

_-…-_

It’s a good thing then

That barbies aren’t real

Because nobody likes an ugly barbie
