Don’t make me leave my bubble,

The world I spent so long creating.

I love my world,

My own little life.

Please don’t make me leave it,

My bubble,

It keeps me safe from the world,

Protecting me from all evils.

Don’t make me step outside,

I fear the unknown.

Why do I have to leave?

Why are you pushing this so?

Does it really matter?

Will society really care that I left my bubble?

Left my life?

I know it doesn’t matter.

But you care.

And you want me to step outside.

You want me to feel,

To be free from the muted emotions bouncing off padded walls,

Free of the thick voices,

The muffled life I live,

Safe and protected,

No matter what the cost.

You want me to leave.

You want me to step outside.

For you,

I will.
