I knew it would happen eventually- a poem about writing poems. Describes the feeling I have when I put that pen to paper, in a fairly abstract way.

As time slips through the day
Feel a special sway
Soundwave distortion
Or an unborn womb
I see the fields of black
Stretching to a cognitive back
As you go
I go
Here, we go
It seems such a special place
All things have their special place
Newcomer's pause
Momentary, gauze
Holds tight
The night
Now of a new light
Speaking from a deep feeling right
No nameless face
No reason, no race
This space
Is mine
I'll share with you though
In a moment as a warming glow
I seek to strive
All parts arrive
Can we be
As one?
