Brown and Blue

I look through these brown eyes to see those blue,
My eyes cry. I am nothing
Like you. I am alone, and quiet,
And my will is so weak.
Am I really of your blood. Darling,
I think not.
As I grow older I see the difference,
Between you and me. I was raised
So different. I am not one of you.
I am awkward, stuttering,
Completely unaware.
You know nothing of who I am.
I am so ashamed. Only around you,
Am I so dishonest. I am afraid.
How you see me: well mannered,
Quiet, innocent, timid. I am nothing
Like that.
I am not one of you.

A/N: This is basically about my dad and his side of the family. Well, just him, my stepmom, and my little sisters. All of them have light blonde hair and blue eyes, and it's so weird being around all of them, because you can tell with my coloring that I'm barely related to them, since I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and my skin isn't as pale as theirs, though I do have a lot of features of my dad, my little sisters both look like my stepmom. It's weird and I wrote the begining of this while I was visiting my dad. They really don't know a lot about me, so ya know that's what this is about.... Looks like I'm back to writing long author notes. Sigh. Hope you like!
