Tangled, you have me now

Vicious cycle that steadies my brow

I'm hesitating

Really

Waiting

Don't think you're unseen

In your courtly fading

I woke today without a fuss

Got showered, ate some pop-tarts

Yesterday, I clung, defeated

To pillow, gripping, as if needed

No reason, really, at first glance

But I am searching, in advance

My mind is watching from the window

Immersed in watching where the wind blows
