Chapter One

Get Out

Katie opened her front door as Brianna knocked. Everyone would be staying at her house, she of course didn’t like the idea at all but all the parents agreed her house would be best.

“Hey!” Brianna said with a smile as she hugged her friend. Katie hugged back a little with a small smile.

Brianna was a sometimes stuck up sixteen year old girl with dark brown eyes and wavy dark brown hair that she usually pulled up into a low messy ponytail. She was usually seen in the latest fashions most of which Katie often thought were silly looking.

Katie was also sixteen, but she was a few months older then Brianna. They got along well though, mostly because they’d been friends forever. Katie had wavy brown hair as well which was almost always pulled up into some random hair style. She had blue-ish green eyes that currently matched her nail polish. She was a rather punky girl with her baggy pants and shirt.

“Where’s Maria?” she spoke up as they parted from their hug.

“She’s coming. She was talking to Sam so I ran ahead.” Brianna explained before walking inside as Sam and Maria walked up the driveway closely followed by Mark, Shane, Zach, and Joey who were talking about video games.

Katie waved at Maria and Sam with a smile. Maria smiled back and Sam waved.

Maria was a tall thin seventeen year old girl who lived down the street. She had brown hair with blonde highlights and light brown eyes. She loved to wear earring and necklaces and was often seen with a few noticeable pieces of jewelry.

Sam or Samantha was a tall also thin sixteen year old girl. She had waist long straight black hair that she almost always wore down. She really enjoyed photography and art. It was something her and Katie loved to do together.
“We’re gonna have fun this week okay?” Sam said as she came to stand in front of Katie who nodded.

“Of course,” she replied.

Maria smiled, “I’m gonna hold you to that.” She said with a nod.

Katie gave a small laugh, “Okay, okay.” She said with a smile as she walked into the house with the two girls.

The four boys walked into the house Joey closing the front door behind them. They headed upstairs and to the pretty empty room on the right. They had been informed earlier where they would be sleeping.

The girls had already gone upstairs and were in the empty room on the left making them-selves at home.

Each of the rooms had a single TV, a radio, a miniature refrigerator, and a full sized closet. There was a full sized bathroom to the left of the boys’ room next to the stairs.

Katie smiled and went downstairs to get some sodas to put in the mini fridge that was in the girls’ room.

Mark smirked and followed her after a moment.

Mark was a tall boy with wavy brown hair and brownish green eyes. He was sixteen and about five feet seven inches tall. He had a very athletic body and highly enjoyed swimming.

Katie walked into the garage and bent over to get two boxes of soda from the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.

Mark walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist grinding his hips into hers. Katie’s eyes widened and she stood up straight. She spun around and went to slap him but he grabbed her hand and forced her into a kiss that she couldn’t pull out of.

Katie struggled against him before he finally let her go allowing her to pull away.

“What’s wrong?” he asked smirking.

“Don’t touch me!” she snapped angrily as him yanking her arm out of his grasp.

“Why not?” he asked acting like he didn’t know what she was talking about.

“We’re not dating anymore!” she snapped.

“So what?” he asked.

“Mark, enough! It’s over! So leave me alone!” she snapped pushing him away from her a little before going to get the boxes of soda again. Mark reached around her and grabbed the sodas.

“I’ll carry them for you.” He said with a smirk before leaving the room and headed upstairs.

Katie closed the refrigerator and followed him frowning.

Her and Mark had gone out for two years up until about a month ago when she broke up with him. She wasn’t sure why, but she just didn’t wanna be with him anymore.

Mark still had feelings for her though if you can call sexual feelings actual feelings. He only liked her for the fact he could call her his girlfriend and she’d agree to do just about anything he wanted.

Out first she thought she was in love so she agreed, but more and more she realized that this wasn’t love and that this wasn’t what she wanted at all. So she ended it.

Mark though he’d admitted it was over, still acted like he always did. To him nothing had changed.

Katie sighed softly as Mark walked into the girls’ room and put a box of soda in the refrigerator then went back to the guys’ room.

Katie ordered pizza for dinner and they all sat downstairs in the living room eating and watching movies. The girls got to sit on the couch excluding Brianna who sat on the floor. Shane and Zach since there was room sat on the couch as well.

The night went smoothly for the most part except for the fact that Brianna and Mark kept arguing about this or that. They didn’t seem to be able to get along about anything.

Everyone agreed that they were being unbelievably stupid in the whole thing. For the most part though everyone ignored them and left them alone to argue.

Other then that, everything that everyone did was up to them. Watch TV, eat, sleep, use the computer, talk on the phone, whatever, it was up to them.

Everyone got along which was good and the parents called before bed to make sure everything was going okay. Katie was more then happy to say everything was going well which the parents of course were thrilled to hear. No surprise there though.

By the time everyone went to bed that night it was almost three thirty in the morning. Katie and Mark were the last to go to sleep and that was only after a heated argument about love, sex, and relationships.

Sam asked Katie if she was okay after waking up to the argument.

Katie simply nodded and said she was fine and went to bed.

Mark seemed to shrug it off or so it looked and went to bed a little while later as well.

Now it was just about waiting to see what tomorrow would bring.

TO BE CONTINUED...

Okay, so chapter one patheticly done. Though I like the chapter (I guess) it's not how I wanted it at all. It didn't come out to my liking or original idea adea at all. So to say the least, i'm very disappointed in it.
I'd really like to apologize for chapter one being so short. Hardly four pages if I remember correctly.
Anyways, I promise to try my best to make the next chapter longer and more interesting to make up for this rather pathetic chapter! .
Either way, please review and let me know what you think, etc. I'd love to hear any ideas you have for the story, etc, etc.
Thanks and wish me luck on the next chapter!! =D
