Hello Everyone! So, here’s yet another story idea I’ve come up with. The story is about four teenagers from the four divided sections of the country Jarx. They have been chosen to unite their land once again as one country. Each ‘god’ has their own special power, which will be described below in a mini (like really mini) prologue. But they are being hunted by a power-hungry Lord from the East who profits to much from a divided land. Along a long road of betrayals, romances, action, and tears, the four sixteen-year-olds try their hardest to end the division. But this whole thing could be way over any of their heads. Enjoy!!

Prologue: The History

A long time ago, 3, 526 years to be exact, the country of Jarx was whole and united. There were no boundaries between the north and south, no long standing feud with the east and west. And there was peace, glorious peace the like of which this world has not seen since.

And at the helm of this great era were the four gods known as the Four Corners. Two boys and two girls with fantastic powers from opposite edges of Jarx.

It was believed by the people that these four children were born human and remained human until their sixteenth birthdays, when a traveling stranger approached them and gave them each a gold chained necklace. Those necklaces, unique to each person, channeled the powers that person possessed. Without them, the children became as powerless as a common farmer.

The four gods were separated from each other by land, one in each quadroon of Jarx. In the south lived the Sun, the golden haired girl with the ability to spread hope as well as the power to convince others to see her way.

The Eagle was from the east, a powerful warrior also known as the Eastern Eyes and Ears due to his intensely heightened senses. In addition, he could even turn into an eagle, master of the sky and air.

The Northern Night was the master of disguise with the power of invisibility and darkness. Even in midday he could render the sky so dark visibility for anyone else was impossible.

And the lady of the west was the Queen of the elements of the atmosphere. She was known as the Wind, who could move the air, causing storms to rise and clouds to part.

Somehow, miraculously, these four found each other despite the natural separation. And just in time.

A feud had just broken out between the tribes of the west and the cities of the east. Division threatened to take control of the land and split it four ways; North, South, East, and West. The Four Corners knew they could never allow Jarx to be divided so, and they dedicated their lives to ending the split.

Finally, after seven years of fighting, the Four succeeded at the goal and once again Jarx was whole and peace prevailed. Their jobs finished, the four gods, one by one, died.

The stories of their deeds were preached throughout the generations for hundreds of years. But eventually the stories turned to legends, legends to myth, and then myth to children’s bedtime stories, nearly forgotten in time.

But a few remained believers that the Four did exist and pledged to assist in any way to find the new generation of the gods who were sure to return since Jarx was once again divided.
