Last week I turned sixteen

My sorrow went unseen

Should I’ve been disappointed or not

That you once again forgot

.

Sometimes you seem so kind

But you keep changing your mind

I try my best to follow

Yet your smile always stays hollow

And all you ever tell me

Is what you want me to be

.

You deceived me with your perfect lies

Confused me with your wrong advise

You broke me with your false care

Shattered me with your hateful glare

.

I just don’t understand

Why you have to pretend

Oh please stop lying

Can’t you see my heart is dying

.

I tried so hard to hate you

But I just can’t seem to

My love still hasn’t gone

Even after all you’ve done

And it just isn’t fair

Because I know that you don’t care

.

You deceived me with your perfect lies

Confused me with your wrong advise

You broke me with your false care

Shattered me with your hateful glare
