Does he have to be accepted by society for me to hold his hand?

Does he have to be liked by everyone else before I kiss his cheek?

Does he have to do as you say before I wrap my arms around his body?

Does he have to give up being him before I tell him "hello"?

Do I have to change him before he holds my hand, kisses my cheek, holds me?

Do I have to tell him no when I mean yes?

Do I have to ignore him when I want his full attention?

Do I have to run out of words when I have so much to say?

Do we need to hate each other before we love each other?

Do we have to stumble on this rock before we smile?

Do we have to cry ourselves to sleep when we can just share one bed?

Do we have to be separated by a thousand miles when we can be separated by an inch?

Do we have to run through the rain when we can share an umbrella?

Do we have to cut off our arms when our fingers are intertwined?

Do we have to reach before our fingers can touch?

Do we have to smile on our own when we can smile together?

Do we have to die when we can live?

Yes. We have to.

A/N: This is going to be untitled for a while, it might become a one shot or not, please treat it as a oneshot for now, and if you want, go ahead and treat it as a prelude to something, and if you want to continue it, as in make a story out of it, go ahead, but please give me credit and let me know, I would love to read it. But for now, please enjoy.
