I saw you there with her by your side

You think nothing of it, just along for the ride

I see her look at me from behind your shoulder

The room may have gotten a little colder

I don’t think I can take it all

I hope you don’t plan on getting my call

You think it’s nothing, just fun and games

Guys like you put the rest to shame

If you think she’s all that you need

I think I may just get up and leave

Don’t even think to come looking for me

At the end of the day if you just can’t see

And when what you have is over and done

You’ll realize I left while you were having fun

Don’t you dare come out looking for me

All you have of left is a memory

My tires rolled down the drive

While you had her in your arms, feeling so alive

And when she gets bored she’ll leave you

And then you’ll realize what I already knew

You’ll realize just how good you had it

Before you left me for her and then she quit

But don’t come looking for me now

It’s a little too late for that to be allowed

My phone may ring and you’ll jump in your car

But I’ll already be away too far

You may struggle to find me but don’t even try

I’m already gone, without so much as a goodbye
