When We Drink Together

It may not be sitting at the bar

Cause we sure ain’t taking the car

But when we drink together

Life gets just a but little better

I’ll look over to you sitting there

Beer in hand, not knowing what’s where

If we have just one, it’ll be thirteen

Because there ain’t no in between

It may have started off slow

But now we’re way past the word go

Don’t even try to stand

Because the floor is where you’ll land

Because when we drink together

You could knock me over with a feather

The world goes to hell before my eyes

My mouth keeps running and they aren’t lies

You better stop me now

Before I go out tipping cows

I know I won’t remember much

Except maybe your touch

Don’t ask me to do anything crazy now

I’ll wake up asking how

The hell I ended up here

But I don’t care as long as you’re near
