A/N- Hello there, so I'm back on a writing kick! YES! And with that being said, here is my new story that I came up with after listening to Reminiscence from Trinity Blood. It's a very cute story, or at least I pray it as such XD. So here it is. [Warnings: contains yaoi, crossdressing (later on), possible sex related scenes (not too sure I'm not too far into writing it yet to tell ya), and I'm not quite sure what else]. Enjoy!

The amethyst waves crashed on shore, washing shells and sand between my toes. I just looked out into the distant sky, dreaming. Longing. Nothing more, nothing less. I closed my eyes as the wind swept past me, blowing my long, bright hair around my body like a shroud. I smiled as I tasted the sweet flavors of the area around me on the breeze. The vendor's selling their sweets and delicious fruits, the children with their candy, and the gentle ocean's sweet smell. Then…then another scent joined those. One that I've never smelled before. It drew nearer until it stopped right next to me. Then, a lulling voice joined this beautiful lulling smell.

"Dreaming of escape?" the voice questioned so quietly it was almost unheard by even myself.

"Not exactly." Came my reply, just as low.

I heard him smile, then chuckle. When I opened my eyes, what I saw was beyond words. Long gorgeous ruby waves blowing in the gentle spring breeze, skin as tan as the sand beneath my feet glistening like diamonds in the sun, a form so picturesque that one would think the David was inspired by he. I felt myself wanting to reach out and touch this person; this mirage that I was sure was next to me. Just as my right hand rose slightly, his eyes opened to reveal one gorgeous blue orb and one beautiful crimson orb. He was way beyond words.

"Don't worry, I've dreamt of escape myself when I was younger." His dual-toned gaze shifted down to me. "I don't think a one person hasn't."

When I went to reply this time, I found it hard to form words. "I…I'm not exactly dreaming…of escape."

He turned and leaned close to me, placing his forehead to mine. Even bent down he towered over me. As his smile grew, he whispered gently to me, his cool, sweet breath washing over my face.

"Then just what is it that you're dreaming?"

I choked on the words this time. All of them getting caught in my throat, trying to escape at once. 'I was thinking of being someone else, but now that's all changed. I'm dreaming about you!' was what my brain was trying to make me say, but my throat didn't quite like that idea. That I was glad for.

"I was…I was…"

"Shh." He said, placing a smooth finger on my lips.

Suddenly his eyes were closed and he was smiling. After a short time, his eyes reopened as he chuckled faintly. My cheeks phased to bright red only imagining what he could have seen.

"So, you want to be one of them? Is that it, dear Rayel?"

I nodded; his head still to mine. He nodded as well. After a moment he stood up and began to walk away slowly.

"Well I shan't keep you from your dreams."

"Wait!"

He stopped and turned on his heels, long hair playing catch-up to the rest of him, looking like dancer's ribbon. "Hm?"

"Your name. You know mine. Who are you?"

He smiled brightly and turned his back to me once more. "I am called…Kasumi. I'm the only house with the back facing the ocean. Visit when you please."

With that, he left me alone as I had started. Did he really invite me to go to his house when I pleased? We had just met, so why the rush? I just shook it off and returned home, kicking the purple waves that washed close enough.

A/N- Okay, so from reading the story thus far, if you think the world in which they live is weird now just due to the purple ocean, wait till you hear a deeper descript of it later...(not sure how much later XD).
