Life is fucked.

That's all there is to say about it.

At this moment, I'm ripping at my fingernails

With my teeth,

Shreds of red nail polish flying everywhere.

I chew my nails when I'm nervous.

It's a really bad habit to have.

How is it that you don't have to be at a close proximity to

Take someone's heart and rip it in two?

Why is it that hearts are like

Tissue paper valentines,

So easily punctured and so easily made ugly?

Geography is a bitch.

Really, when they say it's a small world,

They're talking out of their asses.

This world is cruel,

In that it will expand to keep us apart

And yet when we look at the space on a map,

It looks like an inch.

Crazy, yes?

I don't come off as witty at all when there's emotional stock in something I'm saying.

I talk in monosyllables,

And my palms sweat.

Oh yeah,

And I chew my fingernails.

Could you please find it in your heart to forgive me?
