Angelic Dimension

Open crimson your eyes,
To the starry sky
Sillhoette in the distance
Descending over flickering souls
I shall slip away, slip away into the shadows

Go through tomorrow, knowing there is no yesterday
Say goodbye, I have to go
Did you really think I could stay?
And voices concealed in my chest
Sing of lingering freedom

Twisting labrynth, false trust
Charred ashes, scatter like dust
As I walk towards the dark,
Carrying the light of tomorrow
And I shall leave the rest behind

Do you dare catch, do you dare seize?
The creature behind the mask...
The bright darkness that is me
And shall we share a bleated kiss,
In this land of regret?

Nothing but a distant memory
Floating cape of dread
Hollow, desolate, dead
As we shatter on the ground,
Withering away from our angelic dimension

And I will sing, on withering wings
Until my throat bleeds, as I reach for the sky
And my lungs give out, for you will I shout?
As we whisper demonic words to each other
In this night stained red

My loved darkness,
My eternally fading light
How long, how far, before I take flight?
And that satanic laughter
Is this the real you?

I cannot look, I cannot seize
The heart that belongs to me
Your body so bloody, so tattered
You beckon to me with your haunting smile
And my angelic dimension shattered
