Picture that, then picture this

Radiating spectral bliss

Dancing to a dead mans tune

Beneath the sunny skies of june

Who am I, well who are you?

Standing we almost make two

But I am only half a man

As written down in mans great plan

I had more of this but less of that

As I twist and turn like acrobat

And now I am a shade of me

Barely here and hard to see

For society it does not care

About your needs and what is fair

It is a beast without a heart

We should have seen this at the start

But they were blind and I am dead

Beneath this heavy concrete dread

I tried to fly but found the chains

Pulling taught as blood it rains

I screamed and yelled as skin pulled tight

Until I could no longer fight

Then plumeted into the ground

And in these bloody feathers drowned

Now I am dead, a dancing shade

The only freedom man has made

And I drift off into the night

Away from flesh, this earthly plight

I'll think of you in your living tomb

As I float away in nothings womb
