The idea is writing one hundred, 100 word drabbles :) thanks to serialxlain for the idea and for the word generator I used here. I thought I might as well try this, so here's the first one! Don't ask why its in past tense, I don't know.

It was the most depressing place anyone could set foot in without fear of being beaten to death, offered drugs or being swallowed by a surrounding cloud of foreboding darkness. It was a little hole in the wall café that I loved to frequent. It was grungy and dim, it was glum and it was defiantly manky. Not many people went there. In fact I'm not entirely sure how it made enough money to remain open. It wasn't exactly the sort of place that attracted tourists, first dates or groups of rowdy school kids.

But to me, it was home.
