Something I had been required to write in my psychology class last year. I recently found it and thought it to be decently well written. Not at all that impressive. But it was fun to do. At least I remember it being so.

Who are you?

I like odd numbers; odd, single digit numbers. Which is perhaps the reason I was satisfied with my name when I was a child. Unlike most children who wished to change their names to that of more ornate or popular origin, I was satisfied with my seven-lettered name: Ersilia. I am a forty three year old, five foot one inch tall, ninety-seven pounded, OCD part time librarian.

What are your living arrangements?

I live on the seventh floor of my seven lettered name apartment: Harvey’s. Quite alone, two people is too much and I can’t seem to fit three let alone find two others who would be willing to live with one such as myself. I own one hundred and seven books, thirty-nine EPs, and three telephones.

What do you do for a living?

Write. I write everywhere. On my walls, on the tables, on the ceiling, and in all fifty-one notebooks that I own. I also work part time at my local library as well as several other odd jobs such as a waitress, a sometimes clerk, and I oft run errands for several people who live around me.

Do you have a family and friends?

Yes. A tall lanky father and a short, fierce mother. I also have three siblings. I used to have a fourth, but he died when I was rather young…

I also have a few friends. I often feel, however, that they treat me with kid gloves; pay me special attention at times. Such as waiting for me on the street while, I walk on and off the curb until the numbers seem to make sense or opening doors for me and shutting them. Various other things they do and some tend to get impatient with me; telling me nothing bad will happen if I don’t shove back at the bloke who accidentally walked into my right side or tap the numbers on the telephone dial nine times before I press them. They even say that I don’t need to wash my hands after handling doorknobs.

Are you receiving treatment?

Yes. Prescribed medications such as opioids. Doctors tell me that my symptoms aren’t as severe as most, but I do check myself into clinics if it does get bad enough.

Do you have insurance?

….Yes? With three different companies?
