Haunting Nights

Page 1, Panel 1,(The top half of the page):

A young brown haired, brown eyed caucasian boy is shown wearing a blue t-shirt, a Red and White baseball cap, blue-jean shorts, as he walks among a crowd of people carrying a backpack over his shoulder, as the Narration Caption Reads: Marlin is a normal 14 year old youth who lives a normal life... Or so he's been lead to believe.

Page 1, Panel 2,(Bottom left half of the page):

A close up is shown of Marlin's face, and torso as the Narration Caption Reads: You see Little Marley here is anything but normal. There's something rather special about him. He's a vampire...

Page 1, Panel 3,( Bottom right half of the page):

The image of Marlin's back is shown, as he approaches two doors with other kids entering through them, as the Narration Caption Reads: Now I know what you're thinking: "A vampire walking in broad daylight among normal humans is completely illogical, they're pale, blood-sucking Night Stalkers who can't stand the sun, so how is it that Marlin can walk among man and be fine?" Well Marlin's special.

Page 2, Panel 1( The Top Left Half Of The Page):

The image of Marlin standing in front of an open locker is shown, as he places his backpack inside, while the Narration Caption Reads: You see Marlin is what is commonly known as a "Day-Walker." Unlike Vampiric half-breeds known as "Dhampirs," Day-Walkers, are pure-blood vampires who have long since built up a tolerance to sunlight, Fire, Water, and Garlic unlike their cousins the pale skinned Night Walkers. But the problem is Marlin's unaware of his vampiric heritage.

Page 2, Panel 2,(The top Right Half Of The Page):

A flash back is show to a scenario of a baby in a basket outside of a building, as two adults, a man and a woman are show kneeling over it, as The Narration Caption Reads: You see Marlin was found outside of a church by a married human couple when he was a baby. There is no note or name tag attached to it.

Page 2, Panel 3,( Bottom Left Half Of The Page):

The Scene show the woman holding the blanket wrapped baby in her arms, as a smile is shown on her face while the Narration Caption Reads: And in having pity over the orphan, the married couple adopted the baby, and named him "Marlin."

Page 2, Panel 4,(Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

The Scenario is shown with a baby boy, as his eyes have a light blue glow to them, and a brown haired toddler girl, and cat have their bodies surrounded by a light blue aura, and their eyes have the same glow as Marlin's, while the Narration Caption Reads: His adopted parents soon learned that Marlin has special abilities when they saw him hypnotize his step-sister, Gina, and their pet, Muffin.

Page 3, Panel 1,( The top half of The Page)

Marlin is shown as a four year old toddler, floating to the top shelf of the kitchen, as he has his hands placed on a cookie jar, while the Narration Caption Reads: Marlin's Parents also noticed his powers of levitation upon observing how he got a hold of the Cookie Jar, after constantly seeing him on the floor with it, day after day.

Page 3, Panel 2,(The bottom half of the page):

Marlin is shown is shown sitting in his room with Gina, and covering his mouth at age 7, while The Narration Caption Reads: And Marlin had another problem... His thirst for blood kicked in when he was seven years of age, but he didn't know what it was, neither did he understand it at the time.

Page 4, Panel 1,(The Top left half of the Page):

The scene shows Marlin, age 7 in the kitchen with his older Sister Gina, standing in front of a counter that has a knife, and sliced chocolate chip cookie dough on it, as Marlin is shown sucking on Gina's finger after she had cut using a knife to slice cookie dough, as the Narration Caption Reads: He soon found out how he enjoyed the taste of human blood after he placed Gina's right index finger in his mouth, and sucked on it in order to stop the bleeding.

Page 4, Panel 2,(The Top Right Half Of The Page):

The scene is shows Marlin sitting with his sister Gina, and placing a band-aid on a scrap on her left forearm, as their wearing elbow pads, knee pads, and roller blades, as the Narration Caption Reads: In realizing his Vampirism, Marlin decided to treat his sister's wound through first aid, rather than sucking the blood from her wound before applying a ban-aid because of the fear that he'd on day suck her dry, and kill her. And Marlin didn't want to do anything to hurt his big sister.

Page 4, Panel 3(The entire Bottom Half Of The Page):

Marlin is shown on the school playground, punching a fat black haired kid in a white t-shirt, and blue-jean pants, amongst a crowd of kids watching them, as the Narration Caption Reads: But like most small happy kids, Marlin had to deal with bullies, especially since there were rumors of his vampirism floating around thanks to some of his sister's "so-called friends." But unlike alot of small happy kids, Marlin fought his bullies for picking on him, and his sister.

Page 5, Panel 1(The Entire Top Half Of The Page):

The Scene is shown Marlin biting a thin brown-haired kid wearing a "muscle shirt in the neck, as blood splatters all over the place, while his sister, and three other kids watch with an expression of shock on their faces, as The Narration Caption Reads: And there was one instance when Marlin was 10 years old, where he actually bit a kid who was picking on his sister, and nearly killed him by sucking out his blood.

Page 5, Panel 2(The Bottom Left Half Of The Page):

The scene shows Gina holding Marlin in her arms, as he sobs over the accident that occurred, as the Narration Caption Reads: Gina stopped Marlin before he could do any serious damage, and after slapping Marlin to his senses, he cried, and vowed to never be a vampire as long as he lived.

Page 5, Panel 3(The Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

Marlin is then shown sitting in a class room with other students, as they face the teacher as the front of the class of whom is a middle aged asian woman in a black dress shirt, and skirt, as The Narration Caption Reads: "So in denying his vampirism for the last four years, Marlin's been content with remaining human. But oh how all of that is about to change on this very unusual day..."

And the Teacher is shown with her left hand pointing at the entrance of her class, as her speech bubble reads: Class today we have a new student coming in from Romania...

Page 6, Panel 1,(The Top Left Half Of The Page):

The scene shows a lean 14 year old girl wearing a pink dress, carrying a pink mini-bag, while she has blue eyes, and a streak of pink hair over her left eye, as he has long black hair, while the speech bubble above her reads: "And her name is Angelica."

Page 6, Panel 2,(The Top Right Half Of The Page):

The Scene shows Marlin sitting at his desk with a nervous look on his brightly red lit face, as the teacher instructs Angelica to choose a seat, and his thought bubble reads: "Wow she looks so cute, but what am I going to do if she chooses to sit next to me?"

Page 6, Panel 3,(The Entire Bottom Half Of The Page):

Angelica is shown sitting next to a frozen, and blushing Marlin on his right side, as she turns her attention to him, and says: "Hi, you must be Marlin. I've heard so much about you."

To which Marlin asked nervously, and still frozen: "Y-you have?"

Page 7, Panel 1(The Top Left Half Of The Page):

Angelica is shown with her entire body turned facing Marlin, as she replied: "Yes, I have. I've heard about how you were found and adopted by a human family."

Page 7, Panel 2(The Top Right Half Of The Page):

Angelica is shown sitting closer to a blushing Marlin, as she has her arms around his shoulders, and whispers into his right ear: "I even know your little secret."

Page 7, Panel 3( The Entire Bottom Half Of The Page):

Angelica is shown backed away from Marlin as he shouts: And who told you about that?!"

The teacher is also shown in this scene with her attention on Marlin, and Angelica, as she states: Hey you two no talking during class!"

The back of the teacher is shown as she points a marker at Angelica, and Marlin, while her speech bubble reads: "Angelica, seeing as how this is your first day here, I'll give you a warning. But you Marlin, I expected better from one of my best students."

Marlin is shown sitting next to Angelica with his head lowered, as he replies: "I'm sorry Ms. Chaw."

Page 8, Panel 2,(The Top Right Half Of The Page):

Marlin is shown sitting in his desk with his head lowered, as Angelica has her hand on his back, and says: "I'm sorry Marlin. I didn't mean to get you in trouble."

To which Marlin replies: "Ah, don't blame yourself. I was the one who reacted in a shocked manner because a stranger knew my secret."

Marlin with show looking with his attention turned to Angelica as he ask: "How did you learn about my secret anyway?"

To which Angelica placed her left index finger to Marlin's lips and replies: "Shh, I'll tell you after class."

The scene shows Marlin writing on a piece of paper, with Angelica doing the same, amongst the other students in the class.

Marlin is shown stretching, as the bell rings, and some students are shown making their way towards the classroom entrance.

Marlin is shown exiting the class, holding Angelica's hand, as he ask her: So again, how did you find out about my secret?"

And Angelica replies: Your sister, Gina told me about.

Marlin is shown with a shocked expression on his face, as he ask: "How do you know my sister?"

Page 9, Panel 4,(The Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

Angelica is shown facing Marlin with a smile on her face, as she replies: I ran into her at the beginning before school started."

Page 10, Panel 1(The Entire Top Half Of The Page):

Angelica, and Marlin are shown walking through the hall together, holding hands, as Angelica says: I ran into Gina purely by chance, and after she introduced herself, I asked her so many questions about you, and she told me all I needed to know about you, even your secret, of which I vowed to keep for your sake."

And Marlin ask, while facing Angelica: "And why would you want to know so much about me?"

Angelica is shown giggling, as stands next to Marlin, and replies: "That's my secret, little boy."

Page 10, Panel 3,(The Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

The scene shows Angelica clutching Marling shirt, as she kisses him passionately, while a few students absorb in shock.

Page 11, Panel 1(The Top Left Side Of The Page):

Angelica is shown standing in front of Marlin with her gaze lowered, as she states: "I'm sorry about the sudden kiss, especially after we just met forty-five minutes ago."

Marlin is shown hugging Angelica, as he nervously states: I-it's okay... I'm sure that kiss was based solely on hormones.

Angelica is Shown slapping Marlin in the face, as she exclaims: You jerk!

The Panel is focus on Angelica, as she has her arms folded, as she exclaims: That kiss was not based on hormones. My feelings for you are real. I've practically fallen head over hills for you!"

The door of a classroom of the left side of the panel is slammed as Marlin lays on the ground with his right hand on the right side of his face, as he mutters to himself: "That could've gone better."

Marlin is sitting at his desk resting his hands in his hands, as his thought bubble reads: "I'm such an idiot to say that to a girl that may actually like me. Why is it I'm not good with this kind of thing?"

Marlin is then shown working on a sheet of paper that is filled with questions concerning Geography, as his thought bubble reads: I'll apologize to Angelica, and see if she'll forgive, and then find out why she's so interested in me.

Marlin runs into his sister Gina, and asked: Gina have you seen Angelica?

To which Gina replies with a slight smile: No not recently, I take it you two have already met.

Page 13, Panel 3(The Entire Bottom Half Of The Page):

A Girl with blue hair, and dress skirt approaches Marlin, and replies: Yes I've seen Angelica, she's on the rooftop, and she seemed really mad. What did you do Marlin?"

To which Marlin nervously replied, as his face turned bright red: "I said that her kissing me was based solely on hormones, and that when she slapped me, and walked off."

Page 14,(Full Page):

Gina and The Blue haired girl are shown closed in on Marlin, as he twirls his index fingers, as Gina and The Blue haired Girl exclaimed: "YOU SAID WHAT?!"

To which Marlin muttered: Well it was so sudden, and we just met. So I figured it was based solely on hormones, and had nothing to do with passion.

Page 15, Panel 1(The Top Left Half Of The Page):

Gina is shown with an aggravated expression on her face, while clutching the scruff of Marlin's shirt, as she exclaims: "Are you out of your mind?! When a girl kisses you passionately that's out of affection, not hormones. Now go to Angelica, and apologize to her this instant!"

To which Marlin replies with a frightened expression on his face: "Y-yes ma'am!"

Page 15, Panel 2,(The Top Right Half Of The Page):

A trailing cloud of smoke is shown going away from Gina, and the Blue haired girl, as their attention is turned to it, while the Blue Haired Girl ask: Was that really Necessary?

To Which Gina replies: Of course that's how I sometimes get him to do whatever I want him to.

Page 15, Panel 3(The Bottom Left Half Of The Page):

The scene shown four stick figures going up four flight of stairs( Draw one stick on each flight of stairs) and a fifth stick figure is drawn at the top of the stair, and is standing in front of a door.

Page 16, Panel 1(Top Left Half Of The Page):

Marlin is shown opening the door, as he exclaims: Angelica please don't jump, and commit suicide! I'm sorry for mistaking your passion for a hormonal impulse!"

Page 16, Panel 2,( Quarter panel at the right top half of the page):

Marlin's eye is shown widened in surprise.

Marlin is shown frozen, as Angelica stands in front of him with her right index finger on his forehead, as Marlin ask: What do you mean by tha-?"

Angelica is shown holding an unconscious Marlin in her arms, as she says: I'm sorry Marlin, but you're not yet ready to learn the truth about me yet."

Marlin finds himself waking up in third period class, as a black female teacher slams her ruler on his desk, as he exclaims: "Ah! I DON'T WANNA DIE!"

To which the teacher replies: Well welcome back to the land of the living. It's nice of you to join us, Marlin."

Marlin is shown sitting at his desk resting his head on his forearms, while three "Blahs" hover over his head, while his thought bubble reads: I loathe Science class... And I'm still wondering what that bright flash was, and why I can't remember anything past me apologizing to Angelica.

The scene shows Marlin sighing, as he has his head resting on his right forearm, and his left hand writing on something.

The Bell rings, as Marlin is shown leaving the entrance of the classroom, while students follow, and go past him.

The scene shows Angelica sitting next to Marlin, as they are eating hamburgers, and fries on plastic lunch trays, when Marlin ask: "So why did you leave Romania to come here to America?"

To Which Angelica replies: Curiosity. I signed up in the foreign exchange student program because I wondered what it was like here in America."

Page 19, Panel 4(The Bottom Left Half Of The Page):

The scene focuses on Angelica holding her sandwich with a lowered gaze, as she continued to say: But I've really gotten homesick, and can't wait to go back in June."

Page 19, Panel 5(The Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

The scene shows Marlin facing Angelica, while her back is shown to the audience, and Marlin ask: "Well how long have you been here?"

As Angelica replies: "Since August... The reason why I didn't enroll in this school until today is because I wanted to learn English before interacting with American children.

The scene shows Marlin outside of the school building with a crowd of kids, as he looks around for Angelica.

Marlin is shown sitting next to Angelica with his titled slightly, as he ask: How could I have slipped?"

To which Angelica replies: When I hugged you, you lost your footing, and hit your head on the ground when you fell."

Angelica is shown sliding off the short brick wall, and onto the floor, as Marlin watches her, and ask: Oh come on, when are you going to tell me the truth?"

To which Angelica replies: "When you're ready to hear, and accept it."

The scene shows the small portion of a pant leg, and a black shoe facing Angelica, and Marlin, as the speech bubble directed to the character off screen reads: "Well Well, looks like the little nerd's finally gettin' some."

To which Marlin replies: "Look Joey, I'm in the mood to fight you today. Can't this wait?"

The scene shows a tall lean caucasian boy who's about 5 feet, 9 inches, and is wearing a red t-shirt, as he stands in front of a black boy, a hispanic boy, and another caucasian boy, as they all wear the same clothes, as Joey, and he has a thin blonde caucasian girl wearing a tank-top, and short blue jean shorts, as she's clinging to Joey's right arm, while Joey's speech bubble reads: Awe wassamatter? To which Angelica replies,:"I've fought tougher individuals than this pee-wee."

Joey's teeth are shown grinding to together, as he growls: "Pee-Wee?"

Page 23, Panel 5(Second Left Quarter Panel That Takes Up The Rest Of The Bottom Half Of The Page):

The scene shows Joey charging towards Angelica, as she stand her ground, and her back is facing the audience, as Joey exclaims "Bitch, I'll show you a "Pee-Wee!"

To which Angelica replies: "Come and get it."

Page 24,(Full Page):

Angelica is shown striking Joey's Neck, and diaphragm, as multiple flash points appear on his body. One on each Elbow crease, one on each jugular in his neck, one in each crease behind his knees, and one each muscle above his shoulder.

Page 25, Panel 1,(The Top Left Half Of The Page): Joey is shown laying on the ground, as his friends, and girlfriend back away, as the black kid ask: What The Hell did she do to him?"

Page 25, Panel 2(The Top Right Half Of The Page):

Angelica is shown with her left fist placed against the palm of her left hand, as she wears a glaring grin on her face, and replies: I paralyzed him, by striking each one of his "Pressure Points." Does anyone else care to feel the pain he felt?"

Page 25, Panel 3,(The Bottom Left Half Of The Page):

Joey's friends are seen running from Angelica, as she makes way to Joey's unconscious body, as Marlin ask, as he approaches from behind: "Is that what you did to me, when I saw you on the roof?"

Page 25, Panel 4,(The Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

Angelica is shown kneeling over Joey's body, as she strikes his nerves again, and replies: "No like I told you before you lost your footing, fell, and hit your head."

And Marlin ask, as he's shown standing behind Angelica: "And where you learn that technique anyway?"

To which Angelica replies: "I took a Kenpo class before coming here."

Page 26, Panel 1(The Top Left Half Of The Page):

Gina, and Marlin are shown walking home together, as Marlin flails his arms, and exclaims: "Oh Gina you should've seen it! Angelica took out Joey with some sort of nerve striking technique it was so awesome!"

To which Gina ask: "and what happened after Angelica scared off Joey's friends?"

Page 26, Panel 2,(The Top Right Half Of The Page):

Marlin is shown explaining what happened, as a small flash-back sequence of Angelica helping Joey to his feet is shown, and Marlin replies: She revived him, as he asked, what happened, and she replied, that she tripped him, and he tumbled to a stop while hitting the short brick wall.

Page 26, Panel 3,(Bottom Left Half Of The Page):

The Scene shows Gina, and Marlin still walking side by side, as she ask: "And he bought that?"

Marlin only nods as a response.

Page 26, Panel 4(The Bottom Right Half Of The Page):

The scene shows a hole in the center of a gathering of leaves, as the backs of Marlin, and Gina are shown, and the first speech bubble reads: "So that him. Just another filthy Day-Walker." And The Second Speech Bubble reads: With the sun still out we are unable to attack, and kill him.

The scene shows four red eyes glaring out of the center hole in the leaves, as the speech bubble reads: Then we must wait patiently then, because come night fall..."
