Got ink casting a spell
As I read from it's pages
A magical world of the written kind entices me

Should be sleeping
Working early tomorrow -
Never mind - just one more page
Then I'll let the Sandman take me

Wish I could read in my sleep
Continuing the story enthralled -
Was just heading to bed
When I felt that you had called...

So here I sit, hearing shouts from outside
Wanting to nestle deeper into these covers - I hide
Venturing forth into the dream world
Where I wander the vast landscapes.
