Her presence overshadowing,

hovering close torment,

yet too far to shrug away.

Unbearable, the sound of her voice;

despite her existence.

Her soul drenched in pride,

oblivious to her surroundings.

crushing others as she passes.

not a care in the world, not even a glance.

Her words, piercing; stabbing my heart.

From ignorance, from selfishness.

Torn between hatred and love.

Hatred for her life

Love for our blood bond.

A bond I can’t shake,

A rope I can’t cut,

A blood I can’t drench.

My own flesh and blood.
