Not noticing anything

Letting the words flow

Saying in writing

What needs to be said

Words can’t express

What or how it feels

To not hold you close

To know you will never be mine

Ever again, if you even were

You have been with me

All these years

But now you’re gone

They say you left

It’s not my fault

But I blame myself

I let you get to close

Only to push you away

I loved you

But it was to much

To soon after everything

You held on for so long

But even you can’t fight the past

I pushed and pushed so much

You tried to fight, to stay

But it was to much for you alone

So you left and now…

Now I realize

I messed up

I need you and I let you go

I can’t go on without you

But it’s to late

Far to late
