The Road

-

Bright blue sky ahead

Never wonder which way we’re bound

We’ll know soon enough

Quit asking questions

We’ll find out on our own

Just give it a little time

Have a little patients

Trust in the road

You don’t have to know

Every minor detail

Just trust your eyes

Don’t ever over analyse

Isn’t it enough

To feel the wind gust

Just take it as it comes

And stick to your guns

-

Through the tunnels we will go

Past canals, past cathedrals

Past cities, towns and villages

Past great lakes, rivers and ravines

Past mountains, past the fields green

We will find our own path

-

Dark starry night sky above

Never knowing which ones our guide

But I’m sure we’ll both survive

If we keep driving, just keep driving

We’ll be just fine with all the time

And no enemies, no worries

Just the long dark road ahead

Never know what’s coming next

We all trick ourselves

By getting in routines

We think we can predict everything

And keep us safe

The truth is life is a road

Always moving on

You just don’t notice it

Until you hit a wall

-

Through the tunnels we will go

Past canals, past cathedrals

Past cities, towns and villages

Past great lakes, rivers and ravines

Past mountains, past the fields green

We will find our own path
