Dancing Along a Volcano

Your touch, your smile

The rush in my veins

I look at you and everything is alright

We’re here, dancing along a volcano

Knowing that at any moment

We could fall in

And everything between us could be over

The movements we use are unsteady

The climate is filled with smoke

Dark clouds are rising over head

And I feel I’m not in the right place

You give me stress

Along with happiness

But I don’t think this can last

I guess dancing with you

Along this volcano

Only makes me feel that

I’m going to hurt what we have already

The good times we have now

Could possibly get worse

If we stay along this active volcano

And don’t slow down

Because we’re here

Dancing along a volcano

A beast in control of the weather around us

I know that at any moment

We could fall in

And everything between us could be over
