Insecure

Lately, I’ve been a mess.

It started when I told you yes

to put a label around us.

I don’t think that was really wise

because now I’m afraid

there will be lies.

My heart knows there won’t

but my mind refuses believing

because of so many others

who were misleading.

So I think it would be best

if we just put the labeling to rest,

since I am too insecure to handle it.

Eh... it's ok... geez, I don't know what it is about this boy, but when I write with him on my mind, nothing seems to sound right. oh, well, at least I'm not giving up on writing! :)
