Side by Side by AndromedaMarine
I walked alone for so long
For my heart needed to mend.
Then I
came to walk with You –
It was all worth it in the end.
I see Your footprints in the sand;
And I do not want to hide.
You
find my heart, Lord, and now
We are walking side by side.
I listen to Your lessons
And I drink in every word.
And after
every single doubt
I know it's not absurd.
They're our footprints in the sand;
Now I do not have to
hide.
And now I can't believe that
We are walking side by
side.
My dearest Lord; my Savior –
Forever I am Yours.
I trust You
to win every fight
And settle all the wars.
I see our footprints in the sand;
And even though You've
died,
You returned to be with me –
We are walking side by
side.
Our footprints trail down the shore
A testament to God –
And
because You gave Your life
There's proof You're not a fraud.
I see our footprints in the sand
And I release my pride.
You
are my life now, and
We are walking side by side.
Yet as I look behind our path
I see we're not alone –
For
every step we've taken
There're a thousand footsteps shown.
