Judging Distances
12.16.08
People judge. A lot.
What bothers me, though, is that they don’t take the time to understand. They base their opinions on false facts, creating false faces and superficial personalities. Never having any faith in people, they always assume the worst.
Why?
Because, of course, it’s more entertaining that way. It’s more fun to gossip about the boy who said this, or the ditsy idiot who’s addicted to relationships, right? Of course it is.
But worse still, is after this, do they take the time to change their view? No. Do they even see you? No. All they see are the aspects about that prove them right, no matter how small or miniscule. Because, of course, no wants to be proven wrong. ‘Course not. People only see what they want to see; they never see you for who you are. They ignore the good bits, and pick you to pieces with the small amount of bad that everyone has hidden inside.
It’s never about who’s good anymore.
It’s all about who’s best.
