Randomness... I'm not sure. Just starting off with a sentance and seeing what happens.

"So what now?"

The 3 girls sat in the ironically bright looking room, trying to decide which one of them was going to die. Somewhere, the monster making them choose was laughing.

"Shut UP!" Tara yelled, annoyed.

"Oh Tara, don't make him angry!" Her little sister, Susie, looked up at me with fearful eyes. Even though she was only 3 years younger than Tara and Carrie at thirteen, it was obvious that she was the "baby" of the group.

"Or what, he'll kill us? Guess what Suzie, he's going to do that anyway!"

"We don't need to fight with each other," Carrie said quietly, staring at her hands, which were folded neatly in her lap, "That won't solve anything."

Tara looked from Carrie's calm mask (even though she knew that her friend was terrified underneath) to Susie's fearful face. "Sorry." Tara muttered. She didn't mean it.

The day had started out so ordinary. Tara had planned to go shopping with Carrie, and her mom made her take Suzie. She was fuming about that, sitting in the passenger side of Carrie's van. All of a sudden, the three girls heard a popping noise, Carrie's window broke, and her sholder erupted in scarlet. For a moment while the bullet sunk in, she was quiet. Then she started screaming, she hit a tree... and they woke up in this room, this falsely cheery white room.

"What the heck?" Tara cried, except "heck" wasn't exactly what she said. She was the last to awaken.

Good for you to join us, Tara, said a powerful male voice, we were afraid that Carrie might have hit the tree a little too hard, and then the game wouldn't have been much fun.

Tara got up, wincing. The three girls were each chained to a separate wall.

"What?" she asked.

Why, the game, Tara. Don't you like games? The voice was mocking her. Two of you get to go home, as long as you don't say anything. All you have to do is pick one of you to not go. All you have to do is pick one of you... to die.

So now the three were sitting there.

"Well..." Carrie said, "I... don't kow what to do. I don't know how this happened."

Tick, Tock, ladies. Have you decided?

"LEAVE US ALONE!" screamed Tara.

Oh, Tara, don't you enjoy our games? So you haven't decided, then? That's too bad. Because now you all have to die.

Before anything could happen, spikes came out of Susie's wall. They went into her in a dozen differant places. Her mouth opened, but before she could scream, blood gurgled out of her mouth. She convused, then went limp, her head lolled to one side.

"No! No! Susie!" sobbed Tara. Carrie just stared at Susie. A giant blade came out of tara's wall at her waist, slicing her in half. Her eyes rolled wildly for a moment, then she went as limp as her sister.

Only Carrie was left. She looked around the room, when a noise coming fron Susie's wall made her turn. A hidden door opened, and a boy who was 18 or 19 walked out. He went right up to Carrie and smiled at her.

And Carrie smiled back He kissed her, then let her down. "How's you arm?" he asked.

"It's okay," she said, moving it gingerly, "It hurts, but the bullet only grazed me. I should be fine."

Together, they walked out, Carrie not sparing one look for her dead friends.

Hmph. I love it when I don't know where the story is going. If there are any mistakes, it's because I started this out in Tara's point of view but had to change it when she died.
