Not one of my greatest poems, but my sister helped me a ton, so I had to post it. R&R please.

Said the sun to the moon,

"I'll race you today,

From the east to the west."

The moon said "Okay."

Said the moon to the sun,

"If I sparkle and shine,

I'll win this lame race."

The sun said "It's mine."

Said the sun to the moon,

"You're going to lose.

Just think about where."

The moon said "You choose."

So the sun chose the east

And the moon chose the west.

They started to race,

The sun was the best.

The moon pulled ahead,

It went very fast.

The sun fell behind;

The race didn't last.

The stars stopped them both,

(They wanted to play)

So there was no race

In the blue sky that day.
