Take one step ahead

Then take five steps back

You know how fickle you can be

How cowardly you are

Go crazy, run wild

But you know you will stop

Of you go, hide yourself

To that deep dark corner of yours

You hold yourself tight

Because no one would hold you

You feel cold and empty

Love, trust, loyalty

Are void in your life

You don’t know what love is

Who to trust

What it means to be loyal

You can only sit there

Wishing time will stop

So that everything will be over

Wishing you never existed

So you won’t have to feel

What you are feeling

Until that day comes

You will be here
