I break apart the blue canvas of the sky
As I swoop
dive
Cotton balls that hang high begin to cry
And I dance in their tears
The air tumbles off me as I gracefully go to greet it
But then
all too soon
I am back on my golden perch
Swinging back and forth
Bound by my wired cage
