Hey, look, another poem! This one was inspired by the (surprisingly decent) new episode of The Simpsons on Sunday. I might add a little bit more to it eventually, but this is good enough for now
Afterthoughts gradually turned to obsessions by braggers and boasters
Lead otherwise intelligent men to reins and saddles
Breathless horses chase the speeding wheels of happiness
Whipped again and again by frustrated masters
In a way, this practice seems more proper
But I've no use for such senseless trotting
These beggars just aren't bright enough
To dream up anything better
