Evolution

To those of you who believe in evolution and the Big Bang Theory, please do not take this as offensive or a put-down or me trying to be a jerk to you. I am asking questions on its validity, most out of curiousity and confusion. But I would also like you to decide for yourself what is the truth.

Please listen to what I have to say, and if you disagree, I'd love to hear your opinion.

Are Humans Descended From Apes?

A few weeks ago, I visited the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Among other exibits, I was able to view the exibit on how humankind came about. The description on the wall sounded official enough, speaking of how we "upgraded" ourselves from apes millions of years ago.

However, there was a family tree of the different species which they believe shows the connection between apes and people.

At the base of the tree, different ape species were listed. On the top of the tree, human species were listed. On the single branch connecting them, one species was holding up the whole theory. That single species is what we have called the missing link.

And that single species has never been found.

So-called scientists have taken human skulls and ape jaws and filed them together; folks who seemed sincere found human skeletons and ape skulls near each other and called it cannibalism; but none have ever found proof that the missing link was not missing.

The single species that evolutionists base their claims of the link between humans and apes on has never been found.

Where Did The Rocks Come From?

Suppose the Big Bang Theory is true. Suppose it happened to occur at the right place at the right time and created the whole solar system we know today. Suppose bacteria formed on the backs of crystals; suppose amoeba grew and evolved into the marvelous humans we see every day. Suppose the sun was place at the exact place it needed to be and at the exact temperature and size; suppose the moon just happened to be formed by Orpheus's exact collision.

Suppose all that was true.

My question that I propose before you now is this: if the Big Bang truly happened, where did the material come from? Where did the rocks and particles and substances come from which might have caused this monumental catastrophy?

Perhaps you tell me that these materials came from gas and debris or a gigantic supernova.

Perhaps you are correct.

But now, the question is: where did those come from?

It's mind-bending.

The rocks or particles or gas never had a beginning, never started, never grew out of thin air.

The law of matter states that matter cannot be made or destroyed; it can only change form.

It's physically impossible that the rocks ever came into existence.

Universe

My theory?

I believe in a God who knows no boundaries, who is not stopped by the physics He created, who can direct the entire universe with a single word.

And that brings me to my last point.

Have you ever wondered why we call our mass of galaxies and clusters a universe?

Let's look at what the word really means:

It comes from (easy fun time!) the words "uni" and "verse."

"Uni" means "one."

"Verse" means "single spoken sentence."

Perhaps you are asking yourself, What is that one single spoken sentence?

I believe I have the answer; it is up to you to decide.

I believe that it was a simple command, only four words long:

"Let there be light."

Now may you decide what you believe, and may the God who created both humans and apes, who formed the Moon and stars and Earth, who designed the universe with four simple words, aid you and show you your purpose and why He fabricated you and set you on this Earth.
