And yet I'm still forced to pretend I'm fine.

My pain eats my insides, I burn your flesh and freeze your heart, I can't love you, I'm too broken, too full of tears that won't fall. Imprisoned by the rock that hangs around my neck that feels so heavy now. Weighing me down while I'm expected to carry on as though nothing happened.
