A Million Years

Look, I’m sorry, okay?

Please, will you dry your tears?

I know I swore I’d never leave you,

Not in a million years.

And we had fun for quite a while

But now it’s time to say ‘adieu.’

I know how this is going to sound

But I have to break up with you.

Yeah, I know the promise that I made.

And, baby, I know this is tough

But it’s been 5 million years and 81 days

I’m thinking, that’s enough.
