I’ve always had a reputation for being adventurous. In third grade Jimmy Warren challenged me to a worm-eating contest, and ever since I managed to stomach more creepy-crawlies than him, I’ve been known as Daisy Dare. So when Vlad asked me to marry him (in rather broken English), after knowing each other for all of five minutes, I couldn’t help but say yes. What would my friends have thought if I’d turned him down? If I’m supposed to be so daring, so adventurous, I would’ve looked like an idiot. Besides, god knows I love a good challenge.
