A poem I've just written...

~ Artificial World ~

Malice seeps through the words formed on your twisted tongue.

Bitterness taught us to let go of what is right and nurture what is wrong.

We have forgotten about the acid tears of hope that turned into despair

We ignore the desperate cries of the dying, for it does not hurt if we do not care.

The ruthless force of hatred left me shattered and stunned, just like the venom you hurled.

Once again you weave your lies around me, trapping me inside your artificial world.

But I will not be manipulated by your deceit nor satisfied with your fabrication of truth.

Enough have been cast aside for their believes, doomed to be forever misunderstood.

Unexplainable emotions have melted my frozen heart and opened my eyes.

Never will I close them again, for I have seen the truth we hide within lies.
