Written in the same hour as each other, similar moods and flow. The first two stem from encounters in the workplace that made me reflect on relationships in general, the last is more personal, subjective from my own experience. Thank you for reading!

A+ A- |
One life could lead another's
To the edge of an abyss
As our feet just keep a'walking
One is bound to step amiss
Focus on the leaves turned brown-
Spend your life in a remiss
One chance was all I had
And I chose to sit and wait
Now I sweat and pace
Just outside your pearly gates
It's not enough I know it all,
No, for wisdom was the bait
If I could, I'd take you, breathlessly,
As in talons of the hawk
Instead, I feel so vulture-like
Should I want more than to talk
To think I'd rather lose my legs,
Than my ability to walk…
…I must try just once or always balk-
Strike, all charged, like static shock.
