Young girl put the bottle down,

Its hard we all know.

He haunts your thoughts and

Your in the middle of a breakdown,

Turning to drink to cure it.

But it takes too long,

And the hangover makes it worse.

What comes after the drink?

A razor and scars, self-inflicted pain.

But I never does help and you still feel.

Lost and alone, confused and hurting.

Next comes the drugs.

Weed at first and the light happy feeling.

But sooner or later it doesn't work as well.

Her family sees that its not right but say nothing.

Her friends join her and push her further.

Where does she go when the feeling stops?

Harder drugs encouraged by friends

So lost in love and so forgotten in life.

Seems like nobody cares,

Use the needle a little more,

What's the worst that could happen?

It's raining and the family are in black.

They didn't stop her and here they were.

Their young and beautiful daughter,

Lying at their feet, in a wooden box.
She is lowered into the damp ground.

Now she is alone and beyond help.

Her parents are sobbing.

Not together any more, lost their only.

Why did she do it?

They all could have stopped it.

Now she's cold and gone forever

All because the ways of coping

Made everything so much worse.

But it won't stop the rest,

And those to come.

Six feet below us,

What's the worst that could happen?
